Morgentau Solutions is now supported by the organization "Wissensfabrik", an association supporting young companies in Germany. The aim of this organization is to foster both education and entrepreneurship in Germany. As such, there are wellknown corporations and organizations among its members, e.g., BASF SE, ThyssenKrupp AG, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, and Robert Bosch GmbH as companies and High-Tech Gründerfonds, unternehmerTUM, VDMA and partners - just to name a few. "Wissensfabrik" supports Morgentau Solutions with the expertise of its member companies and through a mentoring program.

Morgentau Solutions attending the 7th Forum of European Neuroscience (FENS Meeting) 2010 in Amsterdam

Morgentau Solutions attending the German Physiological Society 2010 in Copenhagen

Morgentau Solutions will present their Morgentau M1 microscope software at the annual meeting of the German Physiological Society in Copenhagen taking place from March 27 until March 30, 2010. In cooperation with Luigs & Neumann, Morgentau Solutions will present the software which can be used to control their shifting table for more efficient research and for conducting new experiments (e.g., photo/laser scanning and stimulation experiments). Morgentau Solutions Wins Science4Live Business Plan Competition

With their business concept, in particular with their microscope software M1, Morgentau Solutions won - together with others - the conceptual stage of the Science4Live business plan competition. Science4Live is a science and business network supported by both the Hessian State Government and Sanofi-Aventis. On an annual basis, Science4Life organizes a business plan competition. On March 4, 2010, Morgentau Solutions won - together with others - the conceptual stage of the 2010 competition where more than 60 entrepreneurs handed in their business plans. This award is highly recognized in the German life sciences, biotechnology, and chemistry community and - one again - honours the excellent software Morgentau Solutions offers for both researchers in medical basic research and industrial research and development.

Morgentau M1 Tutorial Videos Online

Date: January 21, 2010

To help researchers to use the Morgentau M1 microscope software more efficiently, tutorial videos were produced which are also provided online. One of the videos shows how to use navigation points in case the researcher wants to relocate the microscope stage to a specific point later on, to map a structure of the specimen, or to trace the path of a dendrite. Another tutorial explains how photos of the specimen can be taken, how they can be stitched together, and how they can be exported for later use (e.g., in a paper or in a presentation).

Funding by the "EXIST Founders' Grant" begins

Date: April 01, 2009

From April 1, 2009 on, Morgentau Solutions receives support by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany (BMWi) and the European Social Fund of the European Commission (ESF). For one year, this grant will be used for further development of the "Morgentau M1" and its different modules as well as working on the compatibility of the software application to support various high-end microscope systems.

As of this date, Morgentau Solutions moves into the LMU Entrepreneurship Center located at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. This support is gratefully acknowledged.

Morgentau Solutions placed 3rd in the Stiftung Charité Entrepreneurship Competition

Date: March 23, 2009

Morgentau Solutions gains even more recognition in the scientific community by winning the 3rd place in the first Entrepreneurship Competition organized by the Stiftung Charité. Both founders received this reward at the Charité Biomedical Entrepreneurship Summit 2009 in Berlin. This achievement is rewarded with a mentoring program and a EUR 1.000 cash prize.

In this international competition for start-up enterprises in the biomedical area, many businesses submitted their business concepts and Morgentau Solutions convinced the experts not only by their unique technological idea but also through an elaborate business plan. This is the second prestigious competition in which Morgentau Solutions could succeed.

Morgentau Solutions is accepted for a grant by the "EXIST-Founders' Grant"

Morgentau Solutions will be supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany (BMWi) and the European Social Fund of the European Commission (ESF). This program, the so-called "EXIST Founders' Grant" is designed for outstanding technology-based start-ups with favorable business perspectives.

Morgentau Solutions placed 3rd in Munich Business Plan Competition (MBPW)

Date: July 31, 2008

For their outstanding business plan concerning the development and the distribution of the "Morgentau M1", Morgentau Solutions wins the 3rd place in the Excellence Stage of the Munich Business Plan Competition (MBPW).

This competition is based on three different stages, each representing one step towards a sound and reasonable business idea and business concept. The Excellence Stage is the most advanced stage and the 3rd place is rewarded with a EUR 5.000 cash prize. More than 80 business plans for start-up companies were submitted to the jury. Morgentau Solutions could convince both corporate experts and investors not only with their unique control-software for high-end microscope systems "Morgentau M1" but also with their accurate strategy for implementing business operations and marketing.
