Both founders of Morgentau Solutions met each other during their Ph.D. studies in Munich.
Dr. Philipp Sandner

Until March 2009, he worked as a research fellow investigating various topics in the area of
intellectual property rights, innovation research, technology management, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Philipp Sandner conducted his
research projects at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and the University of California at Berkeley.
He studied Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and the Copenhagen Business School, and
additionally holds a master degree in Business Research awarded by the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
Dr. Michael Bendels

Dr. Michael Bendels worked as a research fellow at the Bernstein Centers for Computational Neuroscience in Munich and Berlin and
at the Department of Neurophysiology of the Charité in Berlin. In 2008, he received his doctor's degree from Charité, Berlin. For
conducting his research projects, he developed and employed the microscope software Morgentau M1.
