About Us

At Morgentau Solutions, we develop software that supports and eases scientific research. Our vision is to provide a maximum of comfort for scientists and to open up new avenues for future research.

Morgentau Solutions is a young and dynamic enterprise specialized in scientific software that leverages high-end microscope systems. Based in Munich (Germany), Morgentau Solutions develops and distributes software products for controlling high-end optical microscope systems in real-time and for organizing experiments relying on such systems. For scientists, the benefits of our software products comprise a maximum in precision, comfort, speed, and documentation capabilities.

On the one hand, research experiments can be conducted more quickly, more systematically, and more efficiently (e.g., mapping of brain cells in neurophysiology). On the other hand, entirely new experiments are possible with our software products.

Primarily, the software is applicable in medical and biological research areas. However, it can also be used in other research areas such as materials research.

The first prototype of the microscope software Morgentau M1 was developed in 2007 during the Ph.D. thesis of Dr. Michael Bendels, who is one of the founders of Morgentau Solutions. Since then, collaborations with the world's leading research institutes have allowed us to improve the software to perfectly fit researchers' needs.

In collaboration with Dr. Philipp Sandner, the software development was continued until 2010 to serve different demands by research institutes and scientists. The prototype has been optimized to be launched for the U.S. and the European market.
